A few personal notes for the ones interested in such... horribly boring and badly written... never the less... I'm 22 years old, comes from Bergen, Norway. A town on the west coast with about 230k inhabitants. It's a very nice place... 'cept it rains a lot here :( Previously I've lived in London, UK for a year, and another year in Seattle, US of A. Since I was a kid my interests have been focused on creative visual stuff like drawing, Lego, modeling and such... I started off with computers like so many others when my dad brought one home from work... in the beginning it was a "portable" Olivetti 8088 with 2x 5.25" floppies which was mostly used for games (MS Decathlon, Beast and Hangman predominantly). I started doing useful stuff with it when I moved up to an 8086 with 256k RAM, 20MB harddrive and a CGA screen. In the beginning I made small animations and useless boring games in a programming language called GRASP. While living in Seattle I bought the first computer which was all mine... I was drooling over all the 3d graphics stuff in Computer Graphics World at the time. So I started off with 3D graphics and animation. Later on came the web and since that my main interest (and job) have been graphic design (mostly confined to the 4 walls of the internet :). I worked briefly on a game project a few years ago - doing the graphics together with a few others, unfortunately the project stranded after about 1/2 year. Later on I worked at a national art-school here in Bergen serving my civil service (instead of being drafted for the military). For the past few years I've been self-employed working with clients around the globe, doing mostly graphic design on the web as well as a bit of illustration and some 3d work.

The site is currently in its 5th incarnation, and has been online since uhm... 94-95 or something like that... go to the archive if you want to see some older versions. ... and here comes the usual list of different stuff I like... I read a lot of sci-fi... from writers like Bear, Asimov, Gibson, PK Dick, Sterling, Douglas Adams and the like... when it comes to movies, favorites include Blade Runner, Dark City, Kieslowski films, Lola Rent, Nightmare before Christmas, City of the Lost Children, Akira, Ghost in the Shell... in the musical direction it's mostly techno /ambient /trip-hop... i.e. Leftfield, Akasha, Nightmares on Wax, Aphex Twin, Future 3, RinneRadio, Electric Skychurch, Lamb, Angelo Badalamenti, Zbigniew Preisner and a lot of Ninja Tune stuff... last but not least a few favorite games through the times... Flashback, Fade 2 Black, Diablo, Wipeout 2097, Starcraft, Grand Theft Auto, Syndicate, Police Quest 1, Space Quest 1-4, UFO, Civilization, Incubation, Commandos - Behind Enemy Lines and SHOGO...
